Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about The Chosen Center Enrichment Program.

What ages do you serve?

The Chosen Center Enrichment Program serves children ages 5-12, typically kindergarten through 6th grade. Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of each age group while providing a cohesive community experience.

What are your hours of operation?

During the school year, we offer after-school care from school dismissal until 6:30 PM. During school breaks and summer, we offer full-day programs from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Specific hours may vary by location—please contact us for exact times.

How do I enroll my child?

Enrollment is simple: Complete our online application form, and we'll contact you to schedule a tour. After the tour, we'll guide you through the enrollment paperwork and confirm your child's spot. Enrollment is limited to maintain our quality standards.

Do you offer homework help?

Yes! Our Academic Pathway includes dedicated homework support time every day. Our staff provides guidance and encouragement to help children complete their assignments with confidence. We also offer additional academic enrichment in reading and math.

What is the daily structure like?

Each day includes a balance of academic support, creative activities, leadership development, physical activity, and purposeful play. Children rotate through our four Enrichment Pathways to receive comprehensive development. The day ends with a calm reflection period before pick-up.

How do you handle safety and communication?

Safety is our top priority. We maintain secure check-in/check-out procedures, background-checked staff, and a structured environment. Parents receive regular updates on their child's activities and progress. We maintain open communication and partnership with all families.

What should my child bring?

Children should bring their school backpack with homework materials, a refillable water bottle, and a healthy snack (if not provided). For full-day programs, pack a lunch. Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes are recommended for physical activities. We'll provide a complete list upon enrollment.

What makes The Chosen Center different from other programs?

Our CHOSEN Framework sets us apart. We provide intentional, purpose-driven enrichment that develops the whole child—not just supervision after school. Our focus on character, holistic growth, opportunity, structure, excellence, and nurturing future leaders creates a truly transformational experience.

Do you provide snacks or meals?

For after-school programs, we provide a healthy snack. For full-day programs, families provide lunch, and we provide morning and afternoon snacks. We accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions—please inform us during enrollment.

What is your staff-to-child ratio?

We maintain low staff-to-child ratios to ensure each child receives personal attention and quality care. Our exact ratios meet or exceed state requirements and vary by age group. Contact us for specific numbers.
